Celebrating their 25-year anniversary, Microair is heading to EAA AirVenture OSHKOSH in July, to join a worldwide lineup of diverse exhibitors. Attending for the first time in over a decade, they will be proudly waving the Australian flag as long-time manufacturers of avionics in Queensland.
Packing their stellar reputation for products that offer functionality and value for money, Microair will be promoting their range, offering some great show discounts AND sharing some extremely exciting news that you do not want to miss!
If you are making the journey across the pond, you should drop into Booth 4001/4002 to check them out. If you are not, that’s ok, Microair still has you covered.
At the show, Microair will of course be promoting their ever-reliable and feature-filled M760 panel-mounted VHF aircraft radio, now in its 25th year of production with Rev Q and available for Certified, Experimental, and LSA aircraft.
Along with their pioneering product, they will also promote their range of Transponders, both the certified and ADSB (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast) versions. The ADSB versions have been designed to offer pilots of LSA and Experimental aircraft the safety benefits of SEE and BE SEEN, and the simplicity and seamless integration of built-in GPS position and altitude data. Advocates of pilot safety in the skies and determined to provide drastically improved situational awareness, the T2000ADSB IN-OUT was designed to handle both in and out data, with the unit capable of receiving ADSB data from all aircraft within a 50nm radius and is compatible with all EFB apps for iOS and Android that support the industry standard GDL90 format. It remains among the lowest cost panel-mount ADSB In and Out solutions on the market.
Of course, the T2000SFL Transponder, with over 5000 units in operation around the world, is also another option in the Microair range, offering a certified transponder that is one of the smallest and lightest of its kind, weighing only 600g (21.1oz).
The company also have some new product announcements too.
Speaking to SportPilot, Ms. Sharelle Crease, Customer Engagement, Sales, and Marketing Manager, said, “Microair is excited to be back at Oshkosh this year, it is such an important event for our market on the global calendar. We have some great new products that we will be launching there”. Ms. Crease added, “The support and demand for the T2000ADSB has been overwhelming and I want to assure our customers that we are committed to catching up on our ADSB upgrade backlog prior to our departure to OSHKOSH. We know delivery delays have been causing some frustration and disappointment, and for that, we are sincerely sorry. We continue to work towards resolving these delays and we cannot express how truly appreciative we are of our customers’ ongoing patience and trust.” Microair have had some issues industrialising their ADSB-IO product with some supply chain issues causing delays.
With the Australian Government ADSB rebate program extended and expanded, Microair is accepting new orders of its range of ADSB products for when the rebate program reopens in July 2024.
If you have been considering an avionics upgrade, now is the time to check out your options.
