The Shark 600 by Shark Aero is set to make its Australian debut after a coast-to-coast tour showcasing its award-winning features.
Shark Aero Australia is presenting the capabilities of the Shark 600 with a nationwide tour, starting in Perth and visiting major cities across the country. The tour will culminate at the Avalon Australian International Airshow 2025, taking place from March 25–30, where aviation enthusiasts can get an up-close look at this cutting-edge aircraft.
Since 2009, Shark Aero has been manufacturing precision-engineered aircraft. This year, they’ve launched in Australia with a local dealer, Shark Aero Australia, which will supply Shark 600 aircraft to the Australian market.
The Shark 600 boasts impressive specifications, including a cruise speed of up to 162 knots, a stall speed of just 34 knots, and a 150L fuel tank with a consumption rate of 20L/h. Designed for long distances and optimal comfort, the Shark 600 is built with state-of-the-art components that ensure both performance and durability.
Notably, the Shark 600 that is touring Australia and will be featured at Avalon is the very same aircraft that Zara Rutherford flew during her historic solo flight around the world in 2021. In this remarkable journey, Zara became the youngest woman to fly solo around the globe. Later, her brother, Mack Rutherford, also set a world record by becoming the youngest person to fly solo around the world in the same Shark Aero aircraft.
The Shark 600’s sleek design makes it easily recognisable in the sky, featuring a panoramic cockpit window and a high-tech, comfortable interior. Advanced technologies such as turbulence detection and cancellation, along with an oxygen generator, enhance the luxurious and comfortable flying experience at altitudes of up to 18,000 feet.
Shark Aero Australia and the Shark 600 will be featured at Stand EW018 at the Avalon Airshow from March 25–30, 2025.
